Security under HIPAA:
In the countdown to the Electronic Health Records as mandated by 2014 - HIPAA, the HITECH Act and Red Flag Rules have created many new guidelines which practices will need to address in order to become fully compliant. This course is designed to demystify staff obligations under the security rules and regulations mandated by these acts regarding interoffice communications as well as external patient communications, emergency preparedness and patient data security.
