IT Project Planning and Implementation

Once you have your basic architectural design in hand, you have a multitude of new decisions to make.  Who will you trust to design and implement your phone, security, computer network and cabling systems?  You need an expert partner that understands your industry’s specific technology needs to manage the planning and implementation throughout the construction phase and into the first day live. 

Bringing your technology partner in on the frontend will save time and money on the backend.  With 15 years of experience and over 400 new construction projects under our belt, you can be sure that we will manage the details.  Computers will fit into the cabinets you have chosen, there will be conduit in place as required.  Headsets, cameras, and other peripherals will be carefully considered; video cabling, power and backing will be in place for your new multimedia presentation display.
Planning on the frontend equals a smooth installation and implementation for your first day in your new office.

The AAI Methodology;

  • Network Design:  AAI consultants work with you to understand your unique vision and total business needs.  We deliver a comprehensive plan for the entirety of your information technology requirements.  You can rely on one source to provide a total solution for your cabling, phone, security, surveillance systems and computer networking.

  • Space Planning:  The location of each computer, network device, speaker and sensor, will be decided early on.  This planning ensures that all pre-wiring and backing will be installed where you need it; avoiding costly change orders.

  • Breaking Ground: AAI is there to meet with your General Contractor and suppliers at the start of the project.  We will maintain an open line of communication with your GC, so that schedules, plans and requirements are shared. We will be available exactly when your project requires our expertise.

  • Rough-in: We coordinator with the GC to pre-wire all data, voice, video, security and surveillance wiring before the walls and ceilings are closed.

  • Termination: Cabling is labeled, punched down and tested.  Your low voltage is installed to code and ready for inspection.

  • Turnkey Installation:  Computers arrive preconfigured for your network; application software is installed, printers and backup solutions are configured and tested. Monitors, Mounts and Peripherals are ideally placed to maximize comfort, productivity and aesthetics.  Special attention is paid to cable management for a clean look and workspace.

  • Preliminary Training:  Your first day in your new office will be action packed.  Prior to your first day live, a preliminary training is given for the phone, security, surveillance systems and computer network basics.

  • First Day Live:  An AAI engineer will be on-site your first day of business on your new network to answer questions, make adjustments and provide additional hands-on training for computers, security and phone systems.

  • Ongoing Network Support:  AAI’s Help Desk Experts and Field engineers are there to answer questions, resolve any issues that may arise and perform upgrades and add-ons as your business grows. Our TechTrack support plans are designed with flexibility to suit your business’ unique needs. A dedicated network computer professional, familiar with all aspects of your network design,is on-call to address all of your network computer support issues.
